The Aim is to support underprivileged students for their education and to become self reliant.

Medha Deshpande

Founder Director, Akshar Sangeet Foundation. Medha is a post graduate in Electrical Engineering from COEP. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of Engineering and Software. She is currently working as a Director in a multinational company.

Ram Deshpande

Founder Director, Akshar Sangeet Foundation.

Ram is a Mechanical Engineer from COEP and MBA from Welingkar School.

Ram has over 30 years of experience in the field of Engineering & Design. Ram is a Professor of Design & Innovation in a well known institute in Pune and he also runs his own business into Engineering consulting and training.

Ram is a passionate singer.

Educational Activity

Support on School Education till 10th Standard:

Currently about 60 students attend the weekend school at the farm house, which is located at Anandvan, near Khanapur, Pune
Maths and English subjects are taught to make them easy to understand which students find most difficult
Value Education is imparted, as being a good human being is equally important
Training on Personality Development skills is also given equal importance as it is very much necessary to be successful in any career
Financial Support is extended to few through Books, uniform, school stationary for those who can not afford

Education and Career Guidance Post 10th Standard:

Currently about 10 students are supported under this activity
Career Guidance like higher education, skill based training, etc.
Actual involvement in Admission process for a few
Financial support for some students for hostel, college and class fees
Day to day support for students staying in hostel
Online teaching through some passionate and supporting teachers
Preparing for the job selection
Helping for getting the job through networking

Akshar Sangeet Week End School has so many positive stories which can be compared with the music.

Akshar Sangeet Foundation has come up with heart touching musical shows which would connect all such sensitive minds. It would continue to sprinkle happiness and positive vibes in addition to generating funds required to accomplish the mission : "Self Reliance through Education"
